Rules of 4rd International chess tournament Arenal.

Type of Tournament
Open international tournament in 7 rounds, Swiss system, elo computable FEDA, FIDE.

From October 23th to 27th of 2018

System Play
The games will be played at the rate of 90 minutes for the whole game + 30 seconds increment per move from move one. 

Bye
Any player may request amaximum of 2 bye of 0.5 points, Bye for the last two rounds must be request before the end of the second round.

Tiebreakers
Apply in first and second place the following tiebreakers, which will be drawn after finishing the last round.

1-Bucholz medium, adjusting virtual player FIDE
2-Total Bucholz, adjusting virtual player FIDE.

The following tiebreakers will be applied in the following order without drawing

3 - particular outcome
4 - progressive to the end
5 - recursive performance
6 - Draw

Place
The tournament will be held at Hotel Play Golf, 5 km from the airport of Palma de Mallorca (PMI)

Participants
Can take part all kind of player, whatever their title, or ranking, provided you have some sort of federal license in force.

Maximum number of players 100.

Initial list
Players will be sorted by their elo high to low.

• First apply the ELO FIDE.
• In case a player has no FIDE ELO will be ranked based on their elo FEDA as if it were FIDE elo.
• Players without FIDE elo, or line up at the end FEDA alphabetically.

This mass will define alignment stretch is that the player to obtain rewards.

Inscriptions
€ 20 for players in the FBE licensed
€ 20 for players staying in the official hotel.
€ 15 for players under 16 years old and less 2000 fide rating
€ 40 for all other participants.
